Omar Cooper Jr. has officially declared for the NFL Draft, taking the next step after a standout college career β€” and doing so with deep ties to Fort Wayne.

Cooper’s roots trace directly back to Northeast Indiana. Both of his parents are South Side High School alumni. His mother, former Vnemina Reese, starred on the basketball court before going on to play at Michigan State. His father was a dual-sport athlete at South Side, competing in both football and basketball.

Moments from the season πŸ“ΈπŸˆ

We had the opportunity to cover Indiana Football from the sidelines this season. GameNight was at several games, including Illinois, at Iowa, MSU, at Purdue.

Congrats to them on winning the national championship β€” well deserved.
