The Carmel Christkindlmarkt will close early on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m., and will be closed Sunday, Dec. 14. ❄️ Freezing temperatures risk our equipment becoming inoperable, and it’s predicted to be too cold to enjoy (or work at) the Market safely. 🦺❄️

We know this is disappointing, and we don’t make these decisions lightly. Our team follows expert guidance to keep everyone safe. To protect everyone, there are specific situations we consider, including:

▪️Sustained wind speeds and/or gusts of 40+ mph
▪️Sustained ambient temperatures of 20°F or lower
▪️Any weather condition that leads the County or State to declare a "State of Emergency," restricting non-emergency travel
