Yesterday was a whirlwind! We celebrated Annie’s first-ever horse show (2nd, 3rd, and 5th!), watched Kim and GG sweep up the top ribbons, and cheered on Reid as she handled some "lost shoe" luck with total grace to still land 1st 2nd and 3rd 3 classes she was able to do.
Even when things don't go as planned (like Ryleigh and Knight not being able to compete 😭 ) our barn shows up for each other. Thanks for the help, cheers, and pictures Ryleigh! I love our barn family! Interested in starting to ride or show? Let us know! Low pressure, great results and a foucus on safety and correct riding.
🎉 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER! 🎉

Our last show was our State Show which was Aug 28th- Sept 2. Here is how we did. (I posted on my personal page and forgot to post here)
2025 state show is in the books. I feel like this year as well as this show can be listed as "A Tale of two cities" " it was the best of times, it's been the worst of times".
Saturday Mrs. Kim and Rita had some great gos but not their best and this was a very tough judge and hard competition. Pacman made his first show debut, he got his first clip, bands and got to see the sites. Myself and Gunner just rolled with the punches and schooled. I thought we should have had a call back or two but that's how it goes. I showed June in halter mares, Showmanship, western horsemanship wj, and western horsemanship wjl. We ened up just out of placing in Western wj with a 7th! Out of 39!
Huge shout out to the show parents and kids for supporting myself and Mrs.Kim making sure we has anything we needed. And Ryleigh for being my groom and photographer for the day.
Sunday Youth showed. This is were the tale of two cities really comes in.
Romeo and june both came up lame before Sunday, June on Saturday and Romeo on Friday. Both were able to pull off two classes on Sunday before coming up lame again.
Romeo looked great but not his best before coming up lame and GG rode amazingly! I really thought they had a tip placing in equitation!
June and Reid were able to pull off a 1st and 3rd in the 12 and under canter classes. These two have had a hard two years but are coming together. I cant wait to see what they do!
Ryleigh and Knight had some good rides but jot their best. Some rides I thought should have got called backs. Some tweak will make all the difference.
I want to make a huge point right now. I am so proud of Reid and GG. GG rode Koda as her main horse and Reid rode Tonka as her main horse. We lost Koda in March and Tonka in April. For these two girls to over come that as well as being such good sportsman when their new mounts had soundness issues at the State show and put their horses first is absolutely amazing! Not only did they not push to show anyway or pout but they even showed up to support Ryleigh as she showed her long day.
As always my show family was amazing! Emily for working our shifts and kristin for always being amazing and helpful. Parents packing, unpacking, decorating, cleaning and so much more!
Oh and i got High point 20 and over for heart of Georgia.
