This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Nature Photography Weekend with and wow what a magical time! The event was really well organized, the weather was great (except for some crazy wind), and allowed us access to shoot at times the general public can’t be in the park which allowed for some epic photos.

This image was shot at the peak of Grandfather Mountain at sunrise this morning (6/9/24) in estimated 40mph winds. More to come.

I’ve been thinking about this shot for a year… it didn’t disappoint with its vibrant tapestry of colors! 🍂
