Please welcome our new K3 preschool teacher, Mrs. Randi Wells!

My name is Randi Jo Wells. I will be the new K3 preschool teacher. I have been in education for 19 years. I graduated with an Associates of Arts in Early Childhood Education in May 2007. I have worked in Special Education, Preschool, Elementary, Music, and Dyslexia Interventions.

I have been married to my husband Scott for 22 years. We have three children, Shelbey 18, Scottlynn 13, and Nolan 10. Shelbey just graduated high school and will be pursuing a job in the dental field. Scottlynn and Nolan are very excited to be attending Union this school year. We attend Haven Heights Baptist church, where my husband is a deacon, and we teach the college and career class. We are very active in the kids and youth ministries also. I am very excited to be a part of Union Christian and help my students shine their unique lights God has given them.

Please welcome our new 7th-9th grade Boys Bible teacher, Dr. Nowotny!

Dr. Matt Nowotny joins Union Christian Academy with more than two decades of experience in ministry, preaching, teaching, and Christian leadership. He has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty years and is passionate about helping students develop a deep understanding of Scripture, a strong biblical worldview, and a lifelong love for Christ and His Word.

Dr. Nowotny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy, a Master of Divinity in hermeneutics, and recently completed his Ph.D in biblical exposition. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Theology and Apologetics. In addition to his ministry experience, he has a strong interest in exegesis, systematic theology, church history, and Christian education.

Matt and his wife, Audrey, have been married since 2003 and are excited to be serving together at Union Christian Academy. (Audrey joined the Union Christian teaching team last year as a middle school history teacher.) They have two sons, Joshua and Caleb, both of whom were recently married.

I look forward to helping students grow in their knowledge of Scripture, their love for Christ, and their understanding of God’s world.”

We are excited to welcome Elisha to our administrative team. She brings more than 11 years of experience in development, nonprofit leadership, and education, along with a deep passion for Christian education, a heart for serving others, and a commitment to building meaningful partnerships that will help advance the vision God has given our school.

Elisha and her husband, Larry, are the proud parents of Atlie (Union Christian 2025 graduate), Paisley (a current Union Christian student), and Baylor.

We are grateful that God has brought Elisha to Union Christian Academy, and we look forward to the impact she will make as we continue to grow and serve our students, families, and community.
