the workforce after high school to support herself and her family! On her days off, Vilay loved to cook on the side. Often experimenting in the kitchen and dishing it out to family and friends for quality control! In 2009, The Asian Kitchen of Spiro was born! Momma Vilay established her very FIRST restaurant in Spiro, Oklahoma! In Spiro, Mom was able to showcase her talents on the wok and serve the citizens around Spiro. To the city of Spiro: Thank you so much for the love and support of The Asian Kitchen throughout the years of 2009-2016. We will forever cherish those wonderful years with you all in Spiro. In 2017, Vilay had another vision: Bring her talents HOME. Fort Smith is where Vilay has always lived when she arrived to America. Fort Smith has raised her, supported her, and most of all, LOVED her. We made the move to bring Asian Kitchen Express home in 2017 to serve with our best hand forward to the community of Fort Smith. A message from Vilay: "Cooking is my passion. I want whoever that walks into Asian Kitchen Express to leave without an empty stomach. I want them to be so satisfied with the quality and quantity that they cannot think ahead to their next meal."
