Hey Ladies, here's a Natural Hair Tip for the New Year...
WATER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!!!! Don't be afraid to put water on your hair.
We've been trained over the years to believe that water is the enemy, but to Natural Hair, it's a Necessity!
Ever noticed that no matter how many "so called" moisturizing products you use, your hair is still dry (especially on the ends)? For daily moisture, try using a spray bottle with water and a little oil (of your choice) underneath the moisturizer then re-style (twist, braid, etc). Don't saturate the hair, just lightly spritz to avoid excessive shrinkage. After a while, you'll see that you won't have to use as much product because your hair will stay moisturized. This was the best lesson I learned this year and it has helped with the health and overall appearance of my hair. Just thought I'd share:)
