A portion of Delaware Avenue in front of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School, just west of the intersectionwith South 33rd Street, is scheduled to undergo temporary closures as drainage improvements are made. A summary of the planned closures is provided below:

Periodic Single-Lane Closures – Periodic single-lane closures are scheduled between July 13-17, 2026. Traffic will be limited to one lane through the work zone and flaggers will direct traffic during that time.

Full Roadway Closure - Delaware Avenue between South 33rd Street and the entrance to St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School will be fully closed between July 20-24, 2026. South 33rd Street and Delaware Avenue eastof South 33rd Street will remain open to traffic.

Follow detour signs to route around the closure. Please use extra caution in the area. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the closure. A map is attached for reference. Should you need additional information, please contact the Public Works Engineering Division at 772-462-1707.
