Plastic doesn’t disappear - it travels. 🌊

During Plastic Free July, it’s a good time to remember that what happens on land can make its way to the Indian River Lagoon.

Plastic bags, bottles, wrappers, and other everyday waste can affect the water, wildlife, and the manatees we love. And while the issue can feel big, the solution starts with small, simple choices.

Bring a reusable bottle.
Skip the plastic bag.
Pick up one piece of litter.
Choose reusable when you can.

The Indian River Lagoon is part of what makes our community so special. Caring for it doesn’t have to be overwhelming - it starts with learning, noticing, and making one lagoon-friendly choice at a time.

Come learn how small actions can make a difference.
