Fischer Rescue Squad is a volunteer organization made up of people that are dedicated in the fields of Swift Water, High Angle Rope, Search and Rescue and Dive Recovery. We are dedicated to saving lives, ensuring public safety, and offering support during critical moments with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous training and preparedness.

Come out and see us tomorrow at meet the Machines !
Bring the kids out from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 2 for Meet A Machine at the Isbell Field Airport in Fort Payne. Kids get the chance to see, touch and learn about emergency response vehicles and trucks used by local businesses. Proceeds benefit the DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center. Adult tickets are $5. Children are free.

December 7-10, 2025 - Fischer Rescue Squad was proud to be a part of the 2025 NC Technical Rescue Symposium. It was an incredible opportunity to train, learn, and work alongside rescue professionals from around the country.
