Today we celebrate Aviation Maintenance Technician Day and the dedicated professionals who keep our crews safe and mission-ready.

A special thank you to LeeFlight's base mechanic, Jarod Kuhlman, for his hard work, professionalism, and commitment to keeping our EC-135 ready to respond when our community needs us most.

We appreciate everything you do for LeeFlight, our crews, and the patients we serve.

This has been a crazy busy week, starting off with visits to Lee and Collier County hospital ERs to say hello, thank our nurses, and drop off snacks for Nurses Week.

We also had multiple outreach and training events with Bonita Springs Fire Department and Braxton College. We hosted a Landing Zone class for Bonita Springs Fire Department’s newest hires, followed by LeeFlight landing at their training center for a static display and close-up look at the EC-135 helicopter.

We then completed our final two advanced airway classes for Bonita Springs Fire Department, wrapping up a total of six airway classes together.

To wrap up the week, we welcomed close to thirty EMS students from Braxton College to the LeeFlight base, where they had the opportunity to get a close-up look at our helicopter, equipment, and daily operations.
