Yesterday, King's Crown residents and staff came together to celebrate Fall by painting pumpkins while enjoying some delicious pumpkin pie!

King's Crown residents enjoyed a beautiful morning walk to the Shell Point orchid house and through the butterfly garden today.

Residents in all three buildings had a wonderful time making homemade ice cream. They reminisced about fond memories making this classic treat through the years, but they all agreed that enjoying their refreshing treat with a slice of homemade apple pie was the best part!

The Butterfly Garden Committee stopped by to share their knowledge of the insect’s life and migration cycle and how our garden supports the local butterfly population. What a fascinating and beautiful afternoon!

Recently, we donned our retro 1950’s outfits to serve up some classic Root Beer Floats for our residents. It was the perfect sweet treat to enjoy while we reminisced about the music, fads and happenings of this exciting decade!

We had a wonderful time creating fresh springtime floral bouquets for ourselves and our neighbors. What a perfect way to enjoy a beautiful spring day together!

Andrew Hawkins, our dear friend and senior minister of The Village Church, recently joined us to present his Academy of Lifelong Learning class, “What’s The Bible All About?” Residents were captivated and inspired by the knowledge and stories Pastor Andy shared from the Bible during his program.
