This is all to true and it effects the paying power to USA Vets, that used to make a good living overseas in the sand box. More and more the work goes to foreign Veterans, who typically work for often less that a quarter of what a USA veteran costs. The truly sad news is that even American owned companies are using the cheaper labor just to stay in business. I have trained at least a thousand or so US Veterans and some still active duty, just transitioning out, as Executive Protection team members. But even in that business over seas work is being taken over by lower wage foreign veterans. Fortunately it does not always work out, military trained soldiers usually do not make for good bodyguards or executive protection team members. They are weapons trained, but that is such a small part of being in an Executive Protection team. The EP teams are trained to use their skills to avoid firefights as much as possible. This tends to keep the Executives from being shot during a firefight, and has far less liability problems for the Executives.
