We strive to provide superior quality service to the entire community. The Fort Mill Fire Department was established in 1915 as a result of a large downtown fire. The department remained fully volunteer until December 1994 when the first paid firefighters was hired by the Town of Fort Mill. As the town has grown, the department has grown in turn.
