Organic Spicy Kale Chips

Ingredients

• 1 large bunch organic kale, washed and completely dried
• 1–2 tablespoons harissa-infused olive oil
• ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt

Optional:

• Garlic powder
• Smoked paprika
• Nutritional yeast

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Remove the stems and tear the kale into bite-sized pieces.
3. Place the kale in a large bowl and drizzle with the harissa-infused olive oil. Massage the oil into the leaves until they’re evenly coated.
4. Sprinkle with sea salt (and any additional seasonings) and toss well.
5. Spread the kale in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
6. Bake for 8–12 minutes, checking after 7–8 minutes. Rotate the pan halfway through if needed.
7. Remove the chips as soon as the edges are crisp but before they begin to brown. They’ll continue to crisp slightly as they cool.

Pro Tip: The secret to perfect kale chips is dry kale, a light coating of oil, and keeping a close eye on them during the last few minutes—they can go from perfectly crisp to burnt very quickly.

The harissa olive oil gives them just the right amount of smoky heat with no additional seasoning needed beyond a sprinkle of sea salt. 🌿🔥
