Plasma Canvas

Guitars, vocals and drums are done for the new album! We know what it's called, but we're not telling you yet. The world is an awful place right now. It can feel difficult to find beauty in our surroundings, but you can always create it, and share it with others. This record covers so much ground, both thematically and sonically, and we feel that it's the most quintessential, definitive capturing of who our band truly is, and who we are as human beings. I may have written all the lyrics, but Evalyn and I approached this album as a team, from the very beginning. We took the time to work together to tell the best story possible, and make you feel like you're in the room with us. It's us reclaiming our sound, our legacy, and our voice as trans women living in this world. We're so grateful to everyone who has ever listened to our band and cared about what we do. We're hard at work bringing together an album that you can listen to over and over and over again, for years to come. Major thank you to for being the best engineer and raddest human ever, and to for giving us a place to express ourselves, rehearse, create and connect. We couldn't have done this without you! ❤️

We're calling on every trans punk we know. We need numbers. Show up rested and ready. As it continues to become apparent that trans people and our loved ones are the only ones who will protect us, it is imperative that we continue to fight. Jax was murdered, Lakewood PD fumbled the investigation, and now Lakewood City Council is trying to push the independent oversight we've demanded into next year. This is happening to try and tire out those of us who continue to fight. They know protesting is inconvenient; that we'd rather be safe and warm at home. Well it may be warmer at my place than standing outside of Lakewood PD, but if trans women can be murdered without consequence, it sure as f**k isn't safer. WE DEMAND OVERSIGHT FOR JAX NOW.
