If you've been on the fence about buying a home recently, rates are lower than they've been for a while. We aren't going to get back to the 3% range we saw during COVID (in case that's what you're waiting for), and we still have an affordability issue in Colorado, but this is welcome news! I've seen people lock in rates on FHA/VA loans in the high 5's over the last couple of days! I expect a fair amount of volatility over the coming months though, so I'm not sure how long these rates will stick around. If you're planning on selling soon, may not be a bad idea to get your home on the market now to attract the buyers trying to take advantage of this dip in rates!
