Greetings Stoneflower Fans,

Happy Holidays! We hope your Thanksgiving was nice and filled with love and good humans. We could all use more of that right now. We are writing you today with heavy hearts. After much deliberating, anxiety, effort, and thought, we have decided to close Stoneflower temporarily on Saturday, December 21st. This decision was not an easy one to make. We love our little corner of Fort Collins. Scotch Pines is a great place to have a business. People are warm and friendly, kind and supportive. We have to best staff in Fort Collins. We love our regulars, our market fans, and all the folks who continue to discover us every day. If it was enough, we’d be here for it. Unfortunately, it’s not.
Our most heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to every single person who has supported our little business over the last year. Y’all are amazing, awesome humans and you are why we run restaurants. There just weren’t enough of you to make it work right now.
Hopefully, this is not goodbye. We are working on ideas for expanding selections at Stoneflower and switching angles, so there might be exciting things coming your way from this little corner in 2025, including some super delicious pizza!! Stay tuned!! In the meantime, if you have time to pop by and say hi in the week, we would love to see you and feed you and thank you for all of the good vibes, kindness, and community you brought to our little restaurant. We felt it and are better because of it. If there is a particular server or chef you connected with, be sure to tell them. That’s why they do what they do.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us and adventuring with us. It has been a wild ride.
The best of the season to you and yours, Stoneflower Fans. May 2025 be kinder to us all!!

Within five minutes of meeting Jared, I knew I wanted him to be a part of our team. He is confident, funny, intelligent, and comfortable. He has a kind smile and a quick wit, and with over twenty years of experience in the service industry, he is an excellent server. Jared has worked at Stoneflower since Day 1, and he is a huge part of the Stoneflower Community. I know many of our lunch customers know Jared well, and if you haven't had the pleasure, now's your chance!

Jared has lived in 16 states west of the Mississippi, with the majority of time spent in Portland, OR and on the Colorado front range. He started in the service industry at the tender age of 15 at a burger joint. He worked in the kitchen and in the front of the house, and quickly realized that what he enjoyed most was interacting with people. Thus began his journey as a server. "In my earlier days in the industry I was motivated by the concept of taking cash home every night, but eventually I realized that the true sense of accomplishment came from the hospitality aspect of service. I truly enjoyed being a part of ensuring every guest left having had a positive experience. The human connection that can be made with people while caring for their needs is deeply satisfying to me."

In addition to being a pretty awesome human, Jared is a bit of a foodie himself. He has been known to really enjoy Chef's sandwiches, but his favorite item on the Stoneflower menu is a charcuterie board with a nice variety of flavors to enjoy, preferably with meats and cheeses from multiple continents. That sounds mighty delicious to us as well! Jared works weekday mornings so pop in and see him if you haven't, or come by and say hi again. Every dining experience is spot on and filled with care, start to finish. We love ya Jared!
