Elwood Staffing is pairing up with FCI Constructors in finding an experienced, skilled carpenter in the San Luis Valley to join a team devoted to safety, hard work, and professionalism.

As a lead carpenter, you would play a key role in the construction of a K-12 school. This position can last up to 2 years, with opportunity for financial growth and increased levels of experience. Expect a 40 hour work week with occasional overtime.

The base starting pay for this position is $20/hr, with opportunity for raise based on experience and performance.


The ideal candidate for this position will posses the following qualifications:

2+ years of carpentry experience
Ability to work independently with little guidance or direction
Experience working at heights up to 40 feet above ground
Knowledge of the importance of safety in regards to self and others on site
Reliable transportation, even on snowy days
Dependable
Physical ability to perform tasks essential to position such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, etc.
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment

Warehouse Associate Duties:

Elwood Staffing is hiring for 2nd shift Injection Molding Machine Operators! Apply today!

The Associate will set up and operates injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials: Installs dies on machine, according to work order specifications, using clamps, bolts, and hand tools.

Sets machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.

Dumps premixed plastic powders or pellets into hopper and starts machine.

Pulls lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast part. Removes finished product from dies, using hand tools. Trims excess material from part, using knife.

May mix thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments in mixing machine, according to formula. May grind scrap plastic into powder for reuse.

The Associate will also be responsible for packaging finished product with accuracy. The associate will be responsible for other general warehouse duties as assigned.

The schedule for this great temporary to hire position is 2:00p.m. to 10:30p.m., Monday through Friday. The starting rate of pay is $14.00 per hour. Apply Today!
