At Murray Therapy, we believe in empowering children and their caregivers with tools to navigate the wonderful world of emotions, growth, and understanding themselves. We have put together a list of 5 fantastic books we often recommend. These are great for helping little ones (and you) with:

* Learning to manage emotions
* Understanding sensory sensitivities
* Embracing growth, learning, and change
* Respecting personal boundaries and building social skills
* Understanding feelings and developing coping strategies

Let us know if you've read any of these, or have any others you would recommend.

There are still a few seats remaining for this evening's session. Give us a call on (970) 226-6225 to register.

You are invited to a special talk, “Self-Regulation for Your Toddler/Preschooler”. Tonight's talk is the second of three in the series, and will cover new material (as well as following up from the first talk if there are more questions). You don't need to have attended the first to come along and learn more tonight.

John Murray, OTR/L a local pediatric occupational therapist with four decades of experience, skillfully combines sensory-motor development with child-parent learning to promote the well-being of the entire family.

Join us for an engaging discussion on how to support your toddler or preschooler in becoming their best-regulated selves, while also ensuring parents can enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Bring your questions as we explore practical strategies, problem-solving techniques, and ways to enhance both the home environment and parent-child interactions.

This event is intended solely for adults, and we kindly ask that children do not attend. Thank you for your understanding!

As a parent, do you seem to encounter more extreme parenting challenges than you expect, and you don't know where to turn? In this video, Mr John tells us a story about Susie, a preschooler who could benefit from pediatric occupational therapy. While Susie's story isn't comprehensive, it illustrates some of the common issues in young children which can (and should) be addressed. Take heart, there's hope - and give us or your local pediatric occupational therapist a call to discuss your child's needs.
