I understand the differing views on the utility of massage therapy, being an avid trail runner and physical work out fiend as well as feeling a deep spiritual connectedness when my body is in motion. The need for massage may be purely physical and goal oriented for a focused athlete or the need may be for me to respectfully hold an intuitive space open and create a session focused on the person as a whole. The need may also be merely to relax and “disappear” for a while.
