Corvid Orchard is a thrifted ensemble playing instrumental music in impromptu places at random times.

**Plot Line Records News Alert**

-my band (Timberline) now has it's own page! you can follow it here: -- lizzie and i now both have film cameras, and this new page will mostly document what those cameras capture (speaking of which, these new artist photos are courtesy of ) in additional to tour info/album releases/etc...

-2023 has hardly started and it's already made me have to reassess my life, my priorities, and my general attitude in terms of productivity and what i'm sending out into the world... with that said, i've decided to take this label more seriously and try my best to do what i can for my artists in terms of marketing and cultivating their own musical community! i've always been really proud of the albums we've produced, but have always stopped their lifespan short by doing essentially zero marketing after their release, not to mention not playing live or branching out to new communities.

I want to not only help cultivate meaning in my artists and myself, but also empower that meaning beyond the confines of my small recording room. there's a lot to learn, and the music industry is a tumultuous beast, but at the very least i want to go down swinging doing something i believe matters!

- LP3 Update: due to a family health crisis on my side (that has since gotten much better and things are returning to normal) macy's next album will most likely see a may/june release, with potentially some singles releasing in April! really excited about it!! :D

today i came across an old portable cassette player lathered in dust and surviving off decades old AA batteries-- inside was a cassette i had made containing music for the "Polaris Trailer" i planned on releasing what seems like lifetimes ago

the cassette brought me back to the late nights i spent creating for it's own sake, when i felt like i actually had something of value to say and to sing, and i didn't treat my recording equipment as a constant annoyance

i'm not sure exactly what happened in the last few years, but hearing this cassette makes me want to desperately reclaim that timeframe of living and musical attitude.. easier said than done O_o i'm a different person now, and so many of my thought processes and values in life have shifted drastically... still, i'm excited and motivated and inspired and honestly indebted to loved ones who've supported me to make the most of what i feel drawn to create! :D so here's to that!

Macy Warner:
and I have been efficiency MACHINES when it comes to recording LP3... we're more than halfway done, but at the same time, we want so much for these songs and macy keeps constantly bringing new ones to the sessions so it's hard to really tell both how many songs will be on the album and when it will release... we are tentatively planning on finishing foundational recording in december, going over additional recording in january, and then releasing in february...but we'll see!! expect a single by year's end though!
