We are looking into expanding into television and Pod casts to bring Science and Math to the early learner. In order to conduct our research, we have opened Little Lab Preschool and Child Care in the building owned by The Learning House. Little Lab is using a Science and Math curriculum developed by Ernie Batson, M.A. for Preschool, PreKindergarten, and Kindergarten in the morning between the hour

Children in the UPK class started a new unit on Weather. They made a chart of what they know about weather and will start exploring the 4 forces that make weather: wind, temperature, moisture, and clouds. Are you looking for a UPK program? Contact Little Lab (970.223.3939; [email protected]).

This week UPK kids are learning about boats and how many passengers each one can carry; we used foil to make the boats. The Preschoolers learned which fruits and vegetables float and sink. Then they will paint with those vegetables. Will a coconut sink or float?
