when they said i do 💛

the grooms garage - where they played pool, drank beer, and hyped Rylie up for his biggest day. 🍻
i feel like the guys think they’re getting out of photos until i show up like…
“heyyyy, who’s ready to take some picturessss 👹”
but seriously, some of the most memorable moments for me happen during this part of the day.
it’s the stories, the laughs, the constant roasting, sometimes 🍑 grabs for the groom, and the realization that their best friend is about to get married. like today.
it’s sometimes chaotic in the best way but so completely worth it. 🤎

proof that the best wedding photos are the ones that are true to you (at least in my opinion 😛).
Lauren & Garrett - thank you endlessly for including me in your special day. it was a looooooong time coming, and just so so special to watch everything finally come together.
you two are the sweetest humans, and honestly, these photos make me smile every time i look at them. i’m so honored to be your photographer and so so grateful you keep trusting me with your moments 🥺

the veil fixers. the dress fluffers. the tissue holders… and the snack suppliers. 🤭
getting ready photos will always have such a special place in my heart. idkk what it is, but i just love them. 😩
on this particular day, we were jamming to music, laughing, eating, and truly soaking in all of the moments. it truly was the perfect start to the most perfect day 🥹
p.s - i photograph a lot of wedding moments, but somehow one of my all-time favorites (even over a year later) is still Marit just casually eating a beef stick before the ceremony… i aspire to be her when it’s my turn 😆

a look into Marit & Rylie’s soft spring wedding
finally sharing some beautiful weddings from last season, and i honestly couldn’t think of a better one to start with.
from the florals to the dress, every detail was beautiful and SO perfectly woven into their day 🥹
happy monday & hallelujah for the single ladies
a few thingsssss:
- my meta app has been a little spicy in the last week! i’m getting messages delayed and my messages are being delayed or not delivered as well. i promise i am not ignoring you! 💛
- with my weekends filling up & getting busier, i will be slower to respond fri-sun! again, i promiseeeee i am not ignoring you!! i am just trying my best to respect those in front of my camera on the weekends, as well as decompress after the busy days too!! 🫶🏼
- another reminder to make sure you’re downloading your photos! i looooove seeing all of your pretty faces & past sessions but unfortunately it slows things down for me too😖
- if you saw this on my personal page first… it was an accident 👉🏻👈🏻
these last couple of weekends have been super busy over here & i couldn’t be more thankful to those booking sessions and trusting me with their memories. 🥺

It’s May. And that means it’s also Mental Health Awareness Month. And I just wanted to share a little message that’s been on my heart lately. 🥺
I think it’s really easy to look at someone’s life and assume they’ve got it all figured out. That it’s easier than what it is.
Maybe they’re traveling. Maybe they’ve got their dream job. Maybe they’re smiling in photos. Maybe they’re accomplishing things you wanted to. They might seem confident, happy, and successful. They could even seem perfect.
From the outside, it could look amazing.
But most people are carrying things you’ll never see.
These photos highlight a few things that I personally struggle with. Some are tied to being a photographer. Some aren’t. Some I’ve talked about before, and some I’ve carried quietly.
Every single person you’ll meet could be fighting a battle you have no idea about. It could be the friend who’s always checking on everyone else. Or the one who seems successful. Or the person who always says, “Oh, I’m good”.
Let this be your reminder to check on your people. Reach out first. Be kind to strangers. Offer your help at a store.
Behind every business, every photo, every person, every smile, every accomplishment, and every social medial post, there’s a human just trying their best.
& If you’re carrying something heavy, just know that you’re never alone. My inboxes are always open, and I’m always up for talking and being there. 💛
