Just wrapped up another laptop repair 🔧💻

This one came in with multiple issues, but I got it fully refreshed and running strong again.

Work completed:
• Battery replacement (restored portability & reliability)
• SSD upgrade from original HDD (major speed boost)
• Front cover replacement (fixed structural damage & improved appearance)

The system now runs significantly faster, stays powered properly, and looks clean again.

Repair Overview – MSI GS65 Stealth

This laptop was originally quoted $1200 for repair.

The system still boots and runs normally, but it was severely overheating and the keyboard and trackpad were not functioning properly.

After inspection, the actual issues were:

• Failed cooling fans
• Faulty keyboard
• Damaged trackpad/keyboard ribbon cable

Estimated repair:
• Parts: ~$120
• Labor: $150

The repair comes in far below the original quote, and once completed the laptop will run cooler and be fully functional again.

Optional cosmetic repairs:
The top and bottom enclosure have cosmetic damage. Replacement parts are about $100 + shipping, with additional labor if the client chooses to have those replaced.
