Forney School names Part 8: Jackson Middle School. Tony Jackson was a 1974 graduate of Forney High School who then played linebacker for SMU football. He dedicated his life to teaching, coaching, and preaching and served as a teacher and mentor at Forney ISD for 21 years from 1994 until his death in 2015. Jackson is best remembered as "Gentle Giant" who often stated "I'm just a nobody, who tries to tell everybody, about somebody who can save anybody."
