We all make mistakes. I made a big one. Failure to TRUELY know a species before introducing it to a tank.
Convict cichlid "NEVER" UNLESS YOU WANT DEAD FISH AND HUNDREDS OF BABIES THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH.

So I set up a tank and added a live piece of driftwood (I usually sun dry/oven bake all pieces before they enter a tank) which is amazing but look at the little fellow found 2 weeks later that was hiding in it. Also top left of picture shows barnicles living in freshwater. Lol. Suppose to be impossible.....lol
