Big news for Collin County travelers: you can now fly out of McKinney.

Avelo Airlines has named McKinney National Airport its newest home, launching nonstop service to five destinations: Las Vegas and four Florida cities, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers. Service begins November 11th on 184 seat Boeing 737s, introductory one way fares start at just $99, and bookings made through July include a free checked bag. It's a whole new, traffic free way to get out of town.
