2026 JROTC BANQUET

We want to start by apologizing for the picture quality. Unfortunately, despite trying everything we could, the camera just wouldn’t cooperate and many photos came out blurry.
That said, we’re excited to share some great news… JROTC held its first annual banquet, and it was a huge success! Cadets had the opportunity to bring family members and share in an unforgettable evening filled with food, drinks, cake, awards, and plenty of laughter (and a few tears).
Guests were warmly welcomed at the door by fellow cadets, setting the tone for a memorable night. Once everyone was seated, Cadet Major Noah Walker performed the National Anthem, followed by members of the former staff who helped serve food to everyone. It was amazing to see cadets and their families enjoying time together.
The evening continued with cake cutting, a toast, heartfelt speeches, and the presentation of awards. As the night came to a close, we held the Change of Command ceremony, a meaningful moment that brought out a lot of emotion, especially for our seniors as they begin to realize their time is coming to an end.
On behalf of the seniors, we want to share this: don’t take a single moment for granted. Enjoy every part of high school, time truly does fly.

Parents, please take a moment to celebrate your incredible kids, and friends, join in congratulating them as well. These cadets have worked tirelessly in the JROTC program, showing dedication, discipline, and leadership every step of the way.
We couldn’t be more proud of all they’ve accomplished, keep up the amazing work!

PROMOTIONS IN THE ECHO COMPANY ONCE AGAIN!!!

Of course, cadets in other companies were promoted as well, but unfortunately I don’t have access to those photos to share. Echo Company had a lot of well-deserved promotions, and I’m incredibly proud of them. It’s great to see them continuing to push themselves and grow!

Last Thursday, February 12th Florence’s JROTC Drone Team competed at Northwest Rankin and earned 3rd place overall in the Autonomous Flight Mission Division! If you see any of these young cadets please make sure you congratulate them!
