These photos are from 2019, but I first attended in 2015. If you asked me what makes the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival so special, this would be my answer: it’s not just the films, the panels, or the awards. It’s the community.
The friendships I’ve formed through this festival have meant more to me than any film award ever could. We come from different backgrounds and hometowns, yet we always find common ground—far beyond film.
I’m grateful for the journey, excited to reunite with old friends, eager to meet new ones, and proud to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together.
I’ll see you guys in March :)

I’m so excited to be going back to the Shoals in March for and showing this film I had the pleasure of being part of while reuniting with and as well as other film friends!
