I still can not believe I had the honor of receiving the Jay N. “Ding” Darling Memorial Award for Wildlife Stewardship Through Art in Edmonton, Alberta! I am so incredibly grateful to the amazing people who nominated me and wrote such kind words about my work. I believe that both artists and conservationists have a shared sensitivity for our planet and the vast number of creatures that inhabit it. It is always such a pleasure to work within the field of wildlife to illustrate how important education and management is to protecting our planet.
