51 To Go is a southern themed restaurant with an old feel, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. The music that is gently piped through the system is from the 40's, 50's and 60's and features artist such as Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway and Dizzy Gillespie! Hey all, dropped the toys and monetary donations off to the Whaley Children's Center today and the staff was most appreciative. The kids will definitely enjoy the toys tomorrow. That is by far one of my favorite program to donate my time, resources and culinary treats to.
Thank you all again for taking the time to stop by 51 To Go to donate toys or funds to the program. You have no idea what you just did for a small group of kids! I, for one, really appreciate you all.
This is the young lady that helped me today at the Whaley Center and I'll be darned that I have forgotten her name! Kristy Bouchard is her name! I hope she chimes in!
Ugly Sweater day at 51 To Go is Wednesday, December 24th, from 11-3 pm! Wear your UGLIEST sweater up to the restaurant! No telling what lil gift you might get!
Please make a note of our dates that we will be closed. Because we are a family operated restaurant, we decided to close from 3 PM, December 24th until January 6th. This will give staff an opportunity to rest and spend time with family as well as complete the dine in section of the restaurant. We've been pushing them pretty hard!
If you need to have something catered or will like to use the Dine In Section, that is available, but you must reserve your fate before the 24th of December. Put in all of your Christmas orders this week as well. Next week is already fairly booked with orders!
