In honor of Crossroads Village's 50th Anniversary, we're bringing back one of the most memorable experiences in Village history — the legendary Train Robbery!

On 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑, 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 Western Weekend train ride and travel back in time as outlaws attempt to hold up the train in a thrilling reenactment. It's a chance to relive a classic Crossroads tradition and experience a piece of Village history firsthand.

Genesee County Parks is looking for a motivated individual to support our vehicle and equipment maintenance operations. This is a part-time, year-round position with no benefits. Pay is based on experience: $18.00–$26.00/hour.

What you'll do: Depending on your experience level, duties may include assisting mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, mowers, and equipment; shop cleanup and tool organization; parts runs; equipment transport using trailers; performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs; and helping coordinate shop operations.

What we're looking for:
-Valid driver's license (trailer experience a plus)
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
-More experienced candidates may qualify for a higher pay tier
-Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours
-OSHA-approved safety-toed footwear required
