This was absolutely a wild one, I think after the second one I would have looked at something else🤔 the most common issue on these cummins trucks with battery charging is the terminal is loose on the drive side, causes the alternator to max out it's dc and overcharge the passenger side which causes battery failure, internal alternator to short to ground and pop the fuse. Simple tech mistake cost the parts house 3 different alternators. Thats why diagnostic over parts changing is a key part in this industry!
