Life, at it's finest... 🎃☠️
Clearly, I'm a bit more delayed than usual and not very present lately on my social platforms. (I am having a high volume of electronic/digital limitations)
With that though, let me just touch base and share some shenanigans and at least connect with some of my more fun connections!
If you don't know, let me sum this time of year for me. I LOVE halloween and this is mainly because it showcases so many variations of peoples creative outlet. The start witnessing others decorating in the most aligned way for them is so beautful, the ability to coordinate a style of outfits/costumes/creations is insane, and my biggest favorite reason is because it allows for us to unapologetically show up exactly how we love to, without such a high fear of being "judged" because it "it must be because of halloween"... At least that how it's felt lately.
Regardless, that's why I started my own personal challenge of showcasing 5 different characters for the week of Halloween and challenging my skills to explore and improve on, the following year. This started in 2019 (I think 😅) and keep working on it. With that though, I started extending that little bug to anyone who wants to also celebrate their inner child and join me in the shenanigans with a little giveaway! For anyone who joins me, dresses up and shows me their creation, you get entered in that drawing. I am so grateful and thankful I get to see you in YOUR favorite ways! The prize is just a few of my favorite things, products and treats I typically would love to keep for myself, but hope you get to enjoy even more! ..
In other news, The time of year to support local businesses is underway with Flagstaff's recognition and would love and appreciate as much support as possible. ..
On another note: Collaborations are MY JAM and the one my husband and I are working on is helping us be able to live in our creative minds and feel proud of it at the same time while others enjoy it too! 😍..

A little background to how this all got started. 5 years ago I started challenging myself and wanted to create an entire week AKA 5 days for a different character for the week of Halloween. It wasn't just to allow my creative side to come out, but it was also to challenge that side with bringing a lot of my favorite characters to life. Every year I use that to hone in on my gifts, grow my skills but also challenge myself to leveling up too. When I opened up the studio (almost 3 years ago), I decided to extend that challenge to MY KIND of people. It has definitely grown and I absolutely love watching so many of you join me in the shenanigans as well as seeing everyone's creative outlets and their own point of views to bring those characters to life. THIS TRULY MEANS THE WORLD TO ME! 🥹💖🥰
Like I mentioned in the video, I will be taking a short break, but please share some suggestions on themes I could incorporate in future Halloween spirit week creations!
*Keep in mind that I do limit myself to create these characters/creations. I absolutely love so many creative transitions and love all the influences that you guys have shared with me, so keep them coming! (I wish I had an entire day to create these looks) Just keep actual suggestions in a realistic to life-ing kind of way. I try and limit myself to about 3 hours before waking up my kids to go to school. 😅*..
