Timelapse Snowstorm Sunset Song
Captured another Timelapse video with my iPhone on Monday, 3/20/23 as the snow storm was moving in at sunset. I left my iPhone propped up against my upstairs window for the length of the Timelapse, and during the video you will see the camera move at times pointing higher and higher. Thankfully, my honeycomb blinds kept the phone from completely falling backwards while this was recording but it does kind of add to capturing the higher bands of color.
I started recording the video at 5:20pm and stopped the recording 2 hours later. The entire length of the Timelapse was 28 seconds. I slowed the video speed down to stretch it out to over 1 minute long as I decided to record some new music to compliment the video. It makes the video appear a little more choppy as slowing it down reduces the number of frames per second. The iPhone shoots Timelapse at 30 frames/second. I added a couple of photos at the end to make the video as long as the short audio track I composed and recorded.
I plan on recording and releasing some new music and videos, so hopefully this track will keep me inspired. Used a Lunar Choir synth patch from my Omnisphere for the ethereal choir string sound, and a cello patch that I added in the background accenting the 3rd of each chord. The drums were programmed in EZDrummer, and the rest is two guitar tracks, one for the chord melody, the other for the ending solo. Definitely a short track at 1:18, so this is a short easy listening audio track to compliment the video, I hope you like it!

Time-lapse iPhone 6s video and some photos I took with my DSLR this evening through my dirty upstairs window. I decided to pull one of the piles of musical ideas I never finish and add it to the video. The snippet I found was named 'E Acoustic Messin' back when I recorded it. I found it in a folder called 'Misc Bounces'. The drums are buried in the mix when I bounced, it is what it is...just some GNX3000 drum machine beats chopped up and mixed in for something to play my acoustic guitar along with. I rarely ever finish any music projects, I guess snippets are better than nothing, lol. Hopefully that will be changing soon! TGIF, enjoy the weekend!
I Don't Know How To Love Him impromptu cover at the All Outta Whack studio! Cool Friday night get together with Jon Glenn and the talented Shawna B! I busted out the classical for this one and gave it my best fake job, key of D. We played through it a few times before Jon filmed us on my iPhone 6s. Hats off to Shawna B, great vocals on this classic.

This is the public video I have created for a song that I wrote for my wife years ago. I recorded it and released it on Facebook over two years ago with old family photos that I didn't want to share publicly. I am releasing this original song publicly today with a video made of photos and live iPhone 6s videos shot by my wife and I at one of our favorite locales anywhere, Grand Falls, AZ.
These photos and videos encompass 4 separate trips in a 24 month span. I am very blessed to live in an area with such amazing scenery, especially during monsoon season. This is 6:31 minutes of your life that you will never get back if you choose to watch, and if you do; I hope you enjoy the song, the photos, and the videos.
Recorded with Pro Tools 10 on a Digi002 interface, Alvarez MFA70CE acoustic guitar mic'd with a Sure KSM27, Yamaha Motif 6 for the keyboard parts, Fender Jazz bass special for the bass parts, and lead guitar parts on a Jackson Dinky Dk2M electric guitar through a Mesa Roadster amplifier and Zinky 2x12 cabinet. Drums programmed and mixed by me via Toontracks EZDrummer 2.0. My vocals mic'd with a Sure KSM27. I do this in my spare time for fun so I hope you enjoy it, Knobtweaker!
The Sparkle in Your Eyes!
"After all these years...the happiness and tears...I still see the sparkle...in your eyes. Through all the ups and downs...a step forward then turned around...Girl what we have...it's no surprise. With each and every passing day...we share our lives and we live it our way...and I know...it was you...who showed me the way!
You showed me all that life can be...when spent on you and me. You helped me to free my past...my fear that true love, it never lasts...and I thank you for what I know...around you it's easy to show...when I close my eyes I see...you smiling back at me!
With all the time we spent...on people who can’t comprehend...The meaning of what love should be...they seem to try so hard but they just can’t see...and so we make things right...we fill each other’s lives with the light! Through it all we've found...together we will spin round and round!
After all this time...I'm still yours and your still mine....seems like we've known each other for all our lives. Through all the ups and downs...we stayed true...we stood our ground. Girl what we have...it's no surprise. With each and every passing day...we share our lives and we live it our way...and I know...it was you...who showed me the way!
You showed me all that life can be....when spent on you and me. You helped me to free my past...my fear that true love, it never lasts...and I thank you for what I know...around you it's easy to show...when I close my eyes I see....you smiling back at me!
And I know that we will be...together you and me...forever we will be. It was you who helped me see...together you and me...forever we will be. Set sail for eternity...together you and me...forever we will be. And I know that we will be...together you and me...forever we will be."
