Kate The Jeep

Hey gang. I rarely directly use Facebook as a communication method. But I keep seeing a few of you join here and there and I thought I’d give you a quick update on future plans with me and the rig.

First off we have our monthly meetup at Patch coffee in Lake forest. I’m trying to get the rig back together for that one. Currently we’re between wraps, axles are at Currie and we need to rebuild or completely replace the driver side emergency brake system.

I’m gearing up for the Rigged For Dirt Summer Camp event this year in Moab, UT. And that’s been a huge amount of work but bringing some of the industries best brands to get out and adventure with the people that make this community great.

Finally we’ve partnered up with Multicam and PRP Seats for a pair of custom front Multicam seats going into Kate with a custom rear cover.

We’re also swapping out all of our steel for Nemesis Industries aluminum rock sliders, bumpers, and fenders. The weight saving should be drastic and definitely looking forward to it.

So kinks are getting ironed out, she’s getting refreshed and we’re gonna start hitting some pretty gnarly trail runs. Gonna be a good time, now if only gas prices can come back down. Vegetable oil diesel powered jeep is sounding awesome…but maybe not as much as LS.
