Multiple Fatality Crash, Interstate 55, Festus Area:

Update, 4:15 P-M:
•Interstate 55 remains CLOSED in both directions near mile marker 174, south of US 67, due to a reportedly multiple fatality, multi-vehicle, 3:30 P-M crash.
•An ARCH Air ambulance has just landed at the scene to transport a patient.
•Other patients have been transported by ground ambulances.
•The other air ambulance has been told it is not needed.
•Fans/Followers report as many as eight vehicles are involved.
•Northbound 55 traffic is now being diverted at mile marker 170, and southbound 55 traffic drivers are being diverted at the US 67 cloverleaf.
•MoDOT's estimated clearance time has been changed to 7:35 P-M.

•On northbound 55 approaching US 67 near mile marker 174, there's a 3:30 P-M crash blocking all lanes.
•Southbound 55 is also closed at the moment due to emergency vehicles in those traffic lanes.
•Followers are reporting as many as eight vehicles are involved.
•Fan/Follower Keith reports two medical helicopters are inbound now.
•I joined it late, but I will be listening now for possible updates.
•MoDOT's first estimated clearance time is 4:35 P-M.
•While no exact information is available yet, sources are reporting there are multiple fatalities.
