The information that Kia and Hyundai owners have been waiting for!!
We are ready to begin the steering wheel lock distribution. Here are a few things to keep in mind before you pick up your lock:
• When you come to pick up your lock, you will need to bring proof of Federal Way residency (utility bill, credit card statement, mortgage statement, state issued ID, etc). You will also need to bring proof of ownership of either your KIA or Hyundai (title or registration).
• Your vehicle must be one of the following Year, Make, and Model;
Hyundai
2015-2021 Accent, Elantra, Kona, Santa Fe, Sonata, or Sportage
2015-2018 Veloster
Kia
2015-2021 Forte, Optima, Rio, Sedona, Soul, or Sportage
2015-2016 Optima Hybrid or Sorento
• One steering wheel lock per vehicle
Distribution Dates/Locations:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, February 21st through 23rd from 9:00am-4:00pm in the lobby of the police department at City Hall 33325 8th Ave S.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, February 28th through March 2nd from 9:00am-4:00pm in the lobby of the police department at City Hall 33325 8th Ave S.
These steering wheel lock mechanisms will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
