UARK Alpha Gamma Rho
In AGR you'll get the opportunity to experience both a social and a professional fraternity. AGR does what you expect a social fraternity to do: socialize with other students on campus and people in the community. But AGR is more than just one of those strictly social fraternities; it is also a professional fraternity. All members of AGR have related career interests. AGR is for young men pursuing any career related to the agriculture, food or fiber industries.

ALUMNI NEWS:
Brother Jerry Wooley β74 #570 was the recipient of the Prestigious National FFA Organization VIP Citation at this yearβs National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! Congrats Brother Wooley!
https://www.ffa.org/press-releases/national-vips-named-during-98th-national-ffa-convention-expo/
The VIP Citation honors individuals who have dedicated 20 years of service to FFA and agricultural education on a national level. Arkansas Agricultural Education & FFA nominated Jerry for this award as the nomination has to come from the State level.
From Arkansas FFA: "Mr. Wooley is a dedicated leader in agriculture, with a strong passion for promoting and educating others about poultry science. Since joining the National FFA Poultry Evaluation Committee in 2000, he has continued to champion excellence in the field. Even after his retirement in 2009, he has remained committed to ensuring the event reflects current industry needs.
Thank you, Jerry, for your outstanding service and dedication to agricultural education and the FFA!"
Jerry's son and fellow Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity Brother Jacob Wooley had this to add: βMom, Jo Ellen, has accompanied Dad to every FFA convention for all of those years and served as a volunteer helping with the national poultry contest. Dad takes great pride in making that contest uniform each year. He knows that the students and teachers have spent countless hours preparing to compete, and he really takes the contest seriously to make sure what they have prepared for is what they get when they arrive at Nationals. Just like every other event from county fair poultry shows to the national contest, Dad hangs around long after it is over and discusses questions with youth and teachers/leaders, so they can continue to learn and succeed.β
