This weeks employee spotlight is estimator David Mendez. He grew up in Fayetteville, AR and graduated from NWACC with an associates in Construction Management. He enjoys working on trucks, building computers, working out, and playing pickleball.

Com-Crete recently celebrated 100 days incident free and there’s no better way to do that than with a family fun day!

Today’s Project Spotlight is on the recently completed United Engines facility in N Little Rock, AR

This project consisted of a small building footprint of only 33,000 SF which created challenges in the casting and lifting of the 73 wall panels and spandrels.

This project consists of over 2,200 CY of concrete and 103,000 LBs of reinforcing steel!

Com-Crete understands the importance of a positive working culture and great leadership so VP Jimmy Smyth recently attended the American Society of Concrete Contractors annual Concrete Executive Leadership Forum. Events included informative seminars and invaluable round table discussions. There was also plenty of time for networking and relationship building!

Com-Crete likes to finish the week on a high note, so on a recent Friday we placed the six level slab at the Hotel VIN project in Rogers, AR.

It has been a busy morning for Com-Crete with concrete placements in Fort Smith, Springdale, and Benton, Arkansas!

Superintendent Rigoberto Mendez and crew recently began construction of the new Simmons Regen facility in SW City, MO. The project consist of a number of new structures and 267,000 SF of paving!

PM’s James Phommavongsa and Mike Boydston recently joined VP Jimmy Smyth for ABC of Arkansas’ Breakfast with the Executive. The event was hosted by Multi-Craft Contractors and featured Courtney Little of Ace Glass. Multiple area contractors attended and benefited from Courtney’s years of experience and leadership advice!
