At a certain age you decide what your measure of success is. As I began approaching 50 (gulp) I realized that my success was going to be the legacy I leave behind. I created and invested in an Ambassador program almost 10 years ago at the University of Arkansas for students majoring in hospitality. I desired to provide them hands on experience in our field. I have learned so much more from my Ambassadors than I could ever have poured into them. One of my Ambassadors is a real ‘over comer’ and started a blog about her life. She chose to include me in her most recent and I’m overwhelmed by the words.
I will continue to measure my success by the legacy I hope to leave behind. Thank you, thank you, thank you for lining my heart with these words of affirmation.
