Hey friends, remember our sanctuary girl, Vala? 💜

We have a little update to share.

Over the past several weeks, Vala has been dealing with some pretty serious issues with one of her eyes. We've made multiple trips to the vet, tried different medications, and hoped each new treatment would be the one that helped.

Sadly, nothing has worked.

Vala has now lost the vision in that eye, and we know it's causing her pain. After talking through all of the options with her veterinary team, we've decided the best next step is a procedure called Ciliary Body Ablation that will permanently relieve the pressure and pain in her eye. She is scheduled to have this done next Thursday.

If you know Vala, you know she's one tough girl. She's been through more than her fair share over the years, and our promise to her has always been the same: we'll do everything we can to keep her healthy, comfortable, and surrounded by love.

We need to raise $300 to cover the cost of Vala's procedure (estimate is attached below).
