Military paychecks came through!!!!! Now what?

What do we do if the military doesn’t get paid on the 15th?
We make a plan. We know our numbers, we use our resources and we rely on each other, as military families always do.

The military as a whole hasn’t skipped a paycheck since 1877(!!!!) but the Coast Guard skipped a paycheck in 2018. This isn’t normal, or right, or even ok, but I’m here to help you make a plan and hope we can band together to weather this storm.

Go to for a roundup of resources and, this doesn’t go without saying, use those resources. We don’t know when this shutdown will end but we do know Murphy comes in 3’s and I want you to have the best safety net and backup plan you can.
