ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I was born and raised in Chicago and have been a resident of Fargo for the past 33 years. I am currently a practicing cardiologist and am involved in a significant amount of medical imaging. I believe this has led me to my interest an appreciation of the field of photography which of course is a form of imaging. I am sure my interest in the Arts was inherited in part from my mother, who was a talented artist. I began my artistic journey 25 years ago when photography was in the film days. The development of digital photography has created more possibilities for artistic development. I have been fortunate to travel widely and capture stunning images of people and landscapes in places such as Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. I especially love photography because it allows one to document the humanity, record events and appreciate the unique environments in which we live.
