Welp… 50° days and ice just don’t mix. ☀️💧⛸️
The SCHEELS Skating Rink at The Square is closed starting today until further notice due to melting ice creating unsafe skating conditions.
We’ll be keeping an eye on temperatures over the next couple of weeks to see what is next. Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll share updates if anything changes

Whether you’re a first-time skater or a seasoned pro, the Scheels Skating Rink is open daily (weather permitting). Skating is FREE when you bring your own or rentals are available at the Skate Shack next to the Broadway Square restrooms.
Skate Shack & Rental Info:
• $5 skate rentals (adult, junior & youth sizes)
• Open Mon–Fri: 4–8 pm + Sat–Sun: 12–8 pm
• Bring an ID or shoes to check out skates
Please note: the rink may close temporarily due to weather, resurfacing or maintenance. Bundle up and we’ll see you on the ice!
