As a member of the Modern Language Association (MLA) AI and Research Working Group, NDSU Ph.D. candidate Md Mahmudul Haque collaborated with leading humanities AI scholars over the course of the 2025-2026 academic year to produce a framework addressing GenAI's impact on research and scholarly publishing in the humanities.
The Framework has just been officially published by the MLA and title "AI and the Humanities: A Framework for Language and Literary Scholarship".
The Framework will be presented and discussed at the following upcoming events:
• Webinar on June 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT
• Workshop at the MLA 2027 Convention
