So, not much to say about this. Actually, there's ALOT to say, but i will refrain. Except to say this. Just because a contractor gives a ridiculous/high estimate, SEEMS reputable (or just has alot of advertising), or is a great saleman, doesnt mean the work about to be done is worth half a steaming pile of pet excrement.

I have been in nearly every constuction phase there is, over 30 years time. I have NEVER seen a worse trim job in my life. In the entire basement.
I cant think on a low enough level to imagine how this work passed for the contractor to pay them. Unless he paid them Before they did the work. Pretty sure the contractor thought they were getting a great deal. Cheap...for a reason.

So, yet again, i remind all you homeowners, pay attention to the quality level AND make sure you get what you pay for BEFORE YOU PAY ! Dont be afraid to DEMAND your moneys' worth.

Or, dont be afraid to give us little fish a call. I guarentee i can do a better job. I do alot more than drywall. I just prefer drywall.

Warm days like this get me thinking about spring, as i'm sure it does to most of us, up here. I have been working away, in basements, bathrooms & garages all winter. So, i am looking forward to changing up & doing some outside work as well. If you have any upcoming projects, we do alot of things besides drywall hanging & finishing.

I'll take on single story siding, i have 5+ years exp with that. I've shingled more homes than i can count, granted i only have a few people to call on to do that, so it would be a longer time table. We do exterior painting on houses, decks/patios & fences. We can build small structures, we have all the tools & equip for that.

And, we put the same quality into all that work as we do in the drywall work as well. The difference being that i flat out refuse to take shortcuts, substitute lower quality products, or otherwise compromise integrity of any structure i build, or product i apply. If that work fails, i am liable, & That would cost alot of $. I'm not a hack. I warranty my work. I guarentee my work. So, it would cost precious time as well. There is a way smaller margin of error than with drywall...

So, if you have some projects you have been planning on for this spring, call for an estimate. It's never to early to schedule jobs.

Hope you all get to enjoy the nice weekend !

Again, not as many pics as i thought. And, apologies for the lighting. It was a late finish. 😮‍💨
But, it turned out pretty good, all things considered. Most of the patches disappeared & blended in rather nicely.
By the way, it was a basement & main floor remodel. Water damage & foundation repair. Thats why so many little things upstairs. Fixing walls in the basement shifted the house, & caused alot of cracks.
Anyhow, i am available for jobs of all sizes, simple patches to remodels. Or new construction.

Quick little repair. Water meter got updated, so had to re-rock & finish the area. Got a few touch up spots, but went well overall...

This was the jigsaw puzzle room. I'm still trying to figure out lighting to show texture tho, so those pics arent on here...
