Severe weather bust with some areas getting rain, others not so much.
Severe weather BUST….cooler weather on the way Storms last night were a BUST in the F/M area. There were some small branches down and some power outages due to the 40-60mph winds. Rainfall wasn’t much in the F/M area but some areas east of

Severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for eastern ND and parts of northwest and west central MN through 4 AM.
The primary risk is going to be severe straight line winds 60-80 mph, which is the reason for the severe thunderstorm watch. Having said that, this is still the type of pattern where brief/quick developing tornadoes can occur within the line of thunderstorm, though the coverage and location of that type of threat could remain isolated in coverage. Hail to the size of ping pong balls may also be a threat.
