OUR HISTORY:
Skeleton Kings MC was established in August, 2010 as Skeleton Krew Car Club in Oceanside, Ca. All members donned a black or gray Dickies jacket with a black and white “Ape Head” embroidered into it. The words “Skeleton Krew” was embroidered above and “Car Club, Oceanside, Ca.” below with white lettering. As a car club, the colors used were black and white, which then became black and
gray when the Motorcycle Club patches were made. One of the most notable things about our club was the diversity of vehicle types and member styles. We carry that diversity still and will throughout the life of our club. In June 2011, we began discussing the possibility of also becoming a Motorcycle Club. With the help of others, we began the process of designing our patch, speaking with other clubs in the area, and setting up the parameters of our involvement in the MC world. September 2011 was the first CoC meeting we attended; still only identifying ourselves as a Car Club with the intention of becoming a CC/MC. Given the respectful nature of our inquiry, there was little opposition to our future MC status. In June 2012, with a few changes made out of respect, we began wearing a large, single piece, gray and back patch with black borders and lettering, still with the same “Ape Head” design in the center. The wording on the patches differed from the jackets in that the lower lettering was “Motorcycle Club”. Shortly after this, we changed both the club color combination and name to allow for future expansion and respect to other clubs with similarities. Starting in August 2012 we were officially known as Skeleton Kings CC/MC with Olive Drab and Black for colors. As the MC grew, the Car Club began to fall off and in 2016 the Car Club had to shut down due to lack of interest.
